On July 20, 2016 the Twinning Programme Administration office realized the monitoring mission for the Twinning project “Support to Improving the Safety of Multimodal Dangerous Goods Transport in Ukraine”.

The project will be implemented during 2016 - 2018 years by partners from the consortium which consist of Spain, France and Poland in order to improve the safety of multimodal dangerous goods transport system on the basis of further approach of the national legislation to the standards of the European Union.

Representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine informed about the process of the Twinning-contract preparation and carrying out of the conference regarding official kick-off of the Twinning project “Support to Improving the Safety of Multimodal Dangerous Goods Transport in Ukraine”.

In addition, during the meeting practical recommendations regarding future implementation of the mentioned Twinning project were given, in particular regarding ensuring of the proper working conditions for European experts in the beneficiary bodies.

From the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine the Director of Department of Safety on Transport Volodymyr Koskovetskyi, Deputy Director of Department of Safety on Transport, Head of Traffic Safety and Dangerous Goods Transport Unit Dmytro Mikov and assistant interpreter of the RTA Katerina Grechko took part at the event.

From the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union the event was attended by the Senior Consultant on the Twinning Coordination Sector of the Projects Management Unit Julia Fedyna.

October 6, 2005 № 1424/2005 «The Issue on the Twinning Programme Implementation in Ukraine» the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service directs and coordinates the activity on preparation and implementation of the Twinning Programme in Ukraine.
