On April 19, 2017 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service within the framework of the Swiss–Ukrainian Project “Development of Citizenship Competences in Ukraine” (DOCCU) the training seminars of the Second Module of the Programme “Development of Citizenship Competences of Civil Servants” for representatives of higher education institutions, who are responsible for training masters under the specialty on Master’s Programme for the “Public Management and Administration” was started.
The participants will review the issues on:
- education for democratic citizenship and human rights education;
- training methods on education of democratic citizenship and human rights education for masters under the specialty on Master’s Programme for the “Public Management and Administration”;
- professional competences of trainers for teaching topics/courses on education for democratic citizenship and human rights education.
During the 3-day training developed education modules on education for democratic citizenship and human rights education for development of the citizenship competences in civil servants and working plans of content updating of master’s programmes of higher education institutions for implementation of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education in the educational programmes for masters on specialty “Public Management and Administration” will be presented.

The Swiss–Ukrainian Project of International Technical Assistance “Development of Citizenship Competences in Ukraine” (DOCCU) is implemented in Ukraine within the framework of the Swiss Cooperation Strategy for Ukraine for 2015–2018, in particular within the direction “Local Self-Government and Public Services”. The Swiss Confederation is the donor of the Project, and the Zurich University of Teacher Education (Switzerland) is the main performer of the Project.
