EU Association Lab Meetup

 On July 12, 2018 "EU Association Lab Meetup" was held for representatives of public administration within the framework the Laboratory of the projects for the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU (hereinafter - the Laboratory).

Problematic issues related to the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in terms of public procurement, law on companies and corporate governance, integration into the digital market of the EU, market surveillance and forest resources management were discussed during the meeting, as this year's program will focus on these topics.

The authors of the program answered the questions of participants and provided professional comments of some of its provisions during the presentation.

Jolanda SATTLER, project leader of “Advisory Fund for EU Association of Ukraine”,GIZ and Tetiana VENTSEL, project advisor of “EU Association Lab”, GIZ took part in the event.

On behalf of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, Senior Consultant of Twinning Coordination Division of Projects Management Unit Yuliia Yerchenko attended the meeting.

The Laboratory is a competitive program of new ideas designed to give impetus to the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU (hereinafter - Agreement). During an intensive six-month program, experts from Ukrainian ministries, together with representatives of public administration, business and civil society, will work on new approaches for its implementation.

The task of the Laboratory is to help the experts of the ministries responsible for the implementation of the Agreement to seize the opportunities available to develop and implement their own ideas for the implementation of the Agreement.

The laboratory is established in cooperation with the Government Office for the Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and GIZ. It is an integral part of the project "Advisory Fund for EU Association of Ukraine", funded by the Federal Government of Germany.
