In the MDCSU the presentation of the Project “Ukraine Civil Service Human Resource Management Reform” took place

In the speech of the Head of the MDSCU Tymofiy Motrenko stressed the importance of reform of the Human resources management system in the central executive power bodies. «Modern civil service which is based on own administrative traditions and which is in accordance with the best  international standards of democratic governance is the inalienable constituent of subsequent development of the Ukrainian state and it European and world integration» - he marked.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine of J. Daniel Karon mentioned that «Government of Canada pay big attention to supporting of reform of civil service in Ukraine, as a key point of strategy of Canada about the assistance of democratic governance and accountability of state institutions in Ukraine». He underlined that «Сivil service is one of the most valuable resources of the state. With the help of the project Ukraine Civil Service Human Resource Management Reform”, which is financed by the Canadian agency for international development, Canada hopes to support efforts of the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine to perfect a management of human resources in the civil service system».

The President of the Commission of Civil Service of Canada Maria Barrados mentioned that the positive moment of cooperation is the possibility to be attached to the construction of independent civil service in Ukraine and expressed the hope on continuation of fruitful dialog between the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine and Commission of Civil Service of Canada. The Commission of Civil Service of Canada will give the expert support to the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine for development of professional civil service by building of the mechanism of the independent monitoring of observance of principle of political neutrality during acceptance on civil service and promotion in it.
