On August 18, 2010 Deputy Head of Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine Ukraine (MDCSU) Andriy Vyshnevsky met with representatives of Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralisation Support Project (DESPRO). Namely, a Senior Project Coordinator Oksana Garnets and Knowledge Management Specialist Maryana Kulya.

The meeting was devoted to discussion of possibilities of cooperation between MDCSU, Center for Adaptation of  the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union and School for Senior Civil Service with the project in the areas of development and implementation of knowledge management in the sector of decentralization and local self-government in Ukraine.

The event was also participated by the First Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of  the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Andriy Bega and Director of  School for Senior Civil Service Oleksandr Saenko.

DESPRO project operates in Ukraine starting form 2007 with the financial support of the Swiss Confederation. During 2007-2009 the project were working on the introduction of models for decentralized public services in Crimea  and in the region of Vinnytsia.
