On August 25, 2011 selection meeting on Twinning project “Improvement of the Policy Framework in the Sphere of Energy Efficiency and its Approximation to the Requirements of the EU Legislation” for State Agency of Ukraine for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation (SAEEEC) was held at the premises of EU Delegation to Ukraine. The meeting was headed by Jean-Francois Loubere, Attaché, EUD.

During the meeting the proposals to implementation of the project were presented by the EU member states. In particular, Mr Jurgen Schneider, proposed Project Leader, Environment Agency Ausria, presented the proposal of Republic of Austria in the consortium with Netherland and Republic of Poland. While the proposal of Federal Republic of Germany in the consortium with French Republic was presented by the proposed Project Leader from Germany, Mr Harald Hoflich.

As a result of meeting Federal Republic of Germany in the consortium with French Republic was selected as a partner for implementation of this Twinning project.
