On August 5, 2010 in the premises of the EU Delegation to Ukraine the Third Steering Committee meeting of the Twinning project of the State Agency of National Project Management "Enhancing Performance of InvestUkraine: the Ukrainian Centre for Foreign Investment Promotion in line with the Best European Practices" was held. During the meeting it was reported on the implementation of events within the framework of the third quarterly period (01.05.1910 to 31.08.1910).

 

During the second part of the meeting participants discussed the structural changes in the sector. Due to the Decree of  the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated on 30.06.10 № 570 "On establishment of the State Agency of National Project Management" Ukrainian Centre for Foreign Investment Promotion was liquidated (beneficiary of the Twinning project) and  the State Agency of National Project Management was formed. Thus, the issue of identifying the beneficiary of the project and its implementation in the future has arisen.

Among the participants of the meeting there were Dr Markus Maurer, MS Project Leader, Dr Karl-Heinz Dübner, Resident Twinning Adviser, Anatoliy Zayets, representative of the Ukrainian Centre for Foreign Investment Promotion, Nataliya Kyrychenko and Olena Cherniy, representatives of the Twinning Administartion Office, Mihal Gorzynski, EU Project Coordinator and representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
