Recruitment of an RTA Assistant in a Twinning Programme

Project:

EU Twining project UA09/ENP-PCA/EN/20: 'Strengthening Institutional Capacity of the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Economy of Ukraine to Streamline the Water Services Management at Municipal Level'

Profile:

• University degree;
• Prior experience as assistant in Ukraine in the public or private sector in an international environment;
• Strong project management skills;
• Experience on EU funded project and especially as RTA assistant in a former Twinning project is a plus;
• Knowledge of public administration issues is an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent, Internet;
• Fluency in English required, knowledge of French language will be a most;
• Ability to deal with tact and diplomacy with the EU and Ukrainian counterparts and ability to work in autonomy as well as collectively.

Tasks:

• Support to the Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) in overall project management, record keeping, correspondence;
• Support to the RTA in the organisation of the different activities from a logistical point of view and in the organisation of the short term experts assignments and meetings as well as Project related missions of the Project Leader and other Member State Partner staff;
• Provide secretarial services in support of the RTA and the other experts in all activities related to their project inputs;
• Provide necessary support in the organisation of seminars and meetings in the Beneficiary Country (preparation of invitation letters and documents, etc.);
• Provide translating/interpreting services;
• Facilitate the exchanges between the International team and the different stakeholders;
• Responsible for handling project accounts and invoices in relation with the MS Project Leader;
• Other tasks as needed.

Job location:

• Ministry of Housing and Municipal Economy of Ukraine: 24, Dymytrova Street, Kyiv plus some missions in Ukraine outside Kyiv.

• 15 months (as of covenant signature)
