On April 19, 2011 selection meeting on Twinning project “Further development of National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) capacities according to European practices” for National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine was held at the premises of EU Delegation to Ukraine. The meeting was headed by Jean-Francois Loubere, Attaché, EUD.

On April 20, 2011 at the National Bank of Ukraine the 5^th Steering Committee of Twinning Project "Strengthening NBU potential through the approximation to EU standards of central banking" was held. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the project implementation during the 5^th quarter, covering the period from 22 December, 2010 till 21 March, 2011.

In the framework of cooperation of Ukraine with the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation on April 19, 2011, there was started another Working group on Institutional Renewal and Good Governance session.

On April 18, 2011 under the chairmanship of Viktor Sheibut, firs deputy Head of State Migration Service of Ukraine was held the meeting with Marta Jaroszewicz, Head of Department for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova of the Centre for eastern studies.

Ukraine as a permanent Public Governance Committee observer is represented by Natalia Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the European Union Standards. The event is conducted for the purpose of realization of Plan for implementation of Roadmap for Cooperation with OECD for 2011-2014.

On April 14, 2011 selection meeting on Twinning project "Strengthening the regulatory and legal capacity of the NCCR in the telecommunications sector" for National Commission of Ukraine for Regulation of Communications was held at the premises of EU Delegation to Ukraine.

On April 14, 2011, the 43rd session of OECD Public Governance Committee has started. Ukraine participates in it in the status of a permanent observer. Ukrainian Main Civil Service Department is responsible for cooperation with the abovementioned Committee.

On April 13, 2011 meeting in the framework on preparation of Institutional Reform Plan in the sphere of food safety was held. Nataliya Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union met with representatives of non-tariff regulations division of the State Customs Service of Ukraine - Leonid Murovtsev and Yuriy Klymyuk. During the meeting participants discussed the improvement of the veterinary and phyto sanitary and customs control in checkpoints in view of the Law of Ukraine “About Preliminary documentary control ”

 On initiative of both the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine and key authorities that have functions in the sphere of state aid monitoring and control, supported by the Delegation of the EU to Ukraine, on 11-13 April 2011 TAIEX Assessment Mission in the sphere of state aid monitoring and control was held. The mission was aimed at the support to the development of Institution Reform Plan in state aid area. Mr Uwe Wixforth from the Ministry of Finance of Germany was supported by the European Commission as an expert for this mission.
