The following A-list of participants were in attendance: Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira, Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine; Viktor Panteleyenko, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine; Pieter Jan Wolthers, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine; Robert Huigen, MS Project Leader; Serhiy Kucheruk, Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of European Union and Dmytro Zorgach, Head of the NAAU, BC Project Leader. Tetyana Kovtun, Director of the School for Senior Civil Service of Ukraine moderated the meeting.

Serhiy Kucheruk pointed importance and significance of the Twinning project for the strengthening cooperation between the EU and Ukraine. The project was focused on creation of conditions for the trade development and signing of relevant agreements by bringing regulatory and administrative practices in line with European standards. Mr Kucheruk informed about initiation of  a new Twinning project, aimed at further capacity strengthening of the NAAU. The proposal was discussed and included in the Twinning Work Plan. The team of the new project is currently working on preparation of the Twinning Fiche.

José Manuel Pinto Teixeira said that budget of the above mentioned Twinning project is Euro 1.4 million. Overall, more than Euro 50 million was allocated to projects in the field of technical regulation and standardization.

Mr Zorgach, Ukrainian Project Leader and Mr Krasyuk, Head of International Cooperation and Information Support Department, Resident Twinning Advisor Counterpart were awarded special testimonials of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine.
