Training "Twinning Programming in 2010: Principles, Priorities and Procedures"

On February 16, 2010, training "Twinning Programming in 2010: Principles, Priorities and Procedures" held in conference hall of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine for civil servans who responsible for Ukraine- EU Association Agenda.   Action was led in the context of the Twinning instrument programming on 2010 for the purpose of raising knowledge of the civil servants in working out propositions for Twinning projects. 38 representatives from public authorities took part in the training: Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, General Prosecutor Office, National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Apparatus of Government Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Policy, Secretary of Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Delegation of the EU to Ukraine and others. Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standarts of European Union Serhiy Kucheruk has opened the event with welcoming speech. He presented Ukrainian legal frameworks, priorities and duties in the European integration processes.  Sector Manager, Public Finance, Twinning, TAIEX, SIGMA of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Eleonora Nikolaichuk made recommendations for better Twinning instrument application.  Head of the International Cooperation Division, Main Department of Internal Troops, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, RTA Counterpart Valeriy Kuhar and RTA of National Space Agency Andre Moussine-Pouchkine shared by theirs own experience in the Twinning cooperation. As a result of work in groups 3 Twinning project proposals were developed which will be improved and submitted for consideration of the Ukrainian part of EU - Ukraine Cooperation Committee.
