In 2016 within the framework of the Work Plan of the Working Group (Panel) on Public Administration Reform of the Thematic Platform 1 ”Democracy, Good Governance and Stability“of the EU initiative “Eastern Partnership” 5 communicative events were held:
- the two-day International Research and Practical Conference “Professionalism, Ethics and Values of Civil Service: Experience of the EU Member States and Eastern Partnership Countries”(18–19 February 2016, Kyiv, Ukraine);
- International forum “Interaction and Cooperation of Government Authorities and Civil Society within the framework of Association Agreement Implementation in Eastern Partnership Countries” (30 June – 01 July, 2016, Kyiv, Ukraine);
- Eighth Annual Richelieu Academic Readings: “Current Issues of Implementation of the New Civil Service Legislation” (22–23 September, 2016, Odessa, Ukraine);
- Tenth Annual Regional Conference on Institution Building (17-18 November, 2016, Kyiv, Ukraine);
- Training “Organizing and Conducting Competency-Oriented Interview (Structured Interview, Star, and Parla) and Estimation af Personnel by “Assessment Center” and “360-Degrees Assessment” (14–16 December, 2016, Kyiv, Ukraine).
In the meantime, during 2016 the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service took part in the following events conducted within the framework of the Working Group (Panel):
- two-day workshop on “Development of Training System to Address Current Challenges in Civil Service” (15–16 June 2016, Yerevan, Armenia);
- seminar on “Top Civil Servants: Role and Responsibilities” (21 October, Chisinau, Moldova);
- seminar on “Common Appraisal System in the Civil Service with Focus on Remuneration / Bonuses” (10–11 November, 2016, Tbilisi, Georgia).
Furthermore, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service took part in the meetings of the Thematic Platform “Democracy, Good Governance and Stability“ within the framework of the Eastern Partnership:
- the 10-th Working Group (Panel) meeting (02–03 June, 2016, Baku, Azerbaijan);
- the 11-th Working Group (Panel) meeting (06–07 October, 2016, Warsaw, Poland).
