Official closure of Twinning project in the space sphere

 On March, 15, 2010 the official closure of the Twinning project "Boosting Ukrainian Space Cooperation with the European Union"  was held in the conference hall of the School for Senior Civil Service. The event summarized the whole project implementation process. The Twinning project duration was 24 months during which a team of experts from France, Germany and Ukraine successfully managed it. 

 
Eduard Kuznetsov, the BC Project Leader made a conclusion about project realization and thanked everyone  for the fruitful and diligent work.

Tymofiy Motrenko, Head of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine in the welcome speech emphasized the success of the project for the National Space Agency and for all space industry in Ukraine.

Also Mr Motrenko awarded Mr Kuznetsov with certificate of honour and RTA counterpart Oleksandr Melashenko with commendation.

The recently appointed Yurij Alekseev, Director General NSAU expressed gratitude to partners who were involved in the project realization. He also mentioned the usefulness of Twinning as instrument of cooperation and exchange of experience.

Mr Motrenko was awarded with the special medal of the Twinning project and Kondratiuk Medal.

Claudia Fischer, the Head of Operations Section 2, Delegation of the EU to Ukraine emphasized peculiarity of the project. Also she mentioned that it is the first one for Ukraine in this sphere.

The Project leaders from France Jean-Claude Courteille and Dr. Wolf Gunther from Germany, Resident Twinning Adviser (France) Andre Moussine-Pouchkine, the members of EUD to Ukraine and embassies of France and Germany, members of executive public bodies and space industry of Ukraine, and others took part in the event.
