On 5 January 2009 a Notification Letter regarding signing of the Contract by all parties of the Support to Transport Policy Design and Implementation in Ukraine Twinning project was issued by the EC Delegation to Ukraine. The project aim is to enhance the capacity of Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, enabling the Ministry to better manage the process of transport policy design and implementation, through transfer of the best EU practice, training and guidance.
The date of this Notification Letter signified the legal starting date for the implementation of the Twinning project. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications in partnership with the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology. The project duration is 24 months.
