During presentation Vitamin Kuchinskiy told about the basic stages of forming of European Union, three columns of the EU, basic institutions of ES (the European Council, Council of the EU, European Commission, European Parliament, Court of Justice of the European Communities, European Court of Auditors) and deliberative bodies (the Social and Economic Committee and Committee of the Regions), by outlining the basic functions and plenary powers. Training participants were also familiarized with such concepts as „European Union Law”, „Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Fundamental Law of the EU”.

The representatives of the Department for Personnel of State Authorities and the Local Self-Government, the Department for Organization of the Professional Studies for Civil Servants and the officials of the Local Self-Government, the Department for Policy Analysis and the Development of Strategy of Civil Service, the Department for Organizational Work, Document Flow and Control, the Department for Organizing and Analytical Assistance to the Chief and for Personnel Management took part in the training.

Next training on the topic „ Policy Analysis and the Experience of Functioning of Policy Analysis Groups” is supposed to be on February, 25, 2009.
