Within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Initiative the meeting of the representatives of Ukraine and Poland took place

On May 12, 2010 at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine the meeting between the representatives of Ukraine and Poland took place. The issues on the European Union initiative “Eastern Partnership” and the Polish contribution to its preparation and subsequent implementation were discussed. 

 
From the Ukrainian side Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataliya Kyrychenko, the Second Secretary of the Department of the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Bodenchuk took part in the meeting. From the Polish side there were authorized of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland on the Eastern Partnership, the Second Secretary of Embassy of Poland in Ukraine Bohuslav Gertruda, Deputy Director of Department of implementation of development programs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Aneta Kedzora.

During the meeting the issues on preparation of Institutional Reforms Plans within the framework of Comprehensive Institution Building Programme (CIB) were of high priority.Nataliya Kyrychenko in her speech represented the position of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine regarding the preparation and priority areas of CIB implementation. During the discussions the Polish side expressed its readiness to assist in the preparation of Institutional Reforms Plans.
