The online training on the general short-term program of advanced training program "Innovative technologies of personnel management" has begun in the NAUCS

The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service together with the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union and the Ukrainian School of Governance in partnership with the Hans Seidel Foundation in Ukraine are launching online training on a general short-term training program that will be held on October 9, 23 and November 4, 2020.

Nataliia Aliushyna, the Head of the NAUCS, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting that today Ukraine needs new civil servants capable of carrying out professional activities in conditions of risks, challenges as well as finding effective solutions and actions aimed at ensuring socio-economic and political development of the state. Study and implementation in practice of international experience in the field of personnel management are one of the priority tasks of improving the professional competence of civil servants.

Nataliia Aliushyna thanked the Representative Office of Hans Seidel Foundation in Ukraine and the Bavarian School of Management for their expert support and assistance in organizing and conducting exercises under the above program.

Currently, more than 100 civil servants of categories "B" and "V" from 13 state executive authorities have taken part in the increase of professional competence under the program "Innovative technologies of personnel management". In particular, they are representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, the State Tax Service, the State Migration Service, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Review of modern approaches, methods and technologies of personnel management and leadership; innovative mechanisms of needs planning and personnel selection instruments, as well as their application in practice, analysis the latest principles and methods of time management will be carried out during training with the participation of representatives of the Bavarian School of Management.

As a result of the training, participants will receive certificates of advanced training.

Gender equality in civil service

The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (hereinafter - NAUCS) implements a number of measures to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men and to overcome all forms of discrimination based on gender. Subpoint 7 of paragraph 1 of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service” as of December 10, 2015 No. 889-VIII defines that one of the principles of civil service is to ensure equal access to civil service, that is, the prohibition of all forms and manifestations of discrimination, the absence of unreasonable restrictions or providing unjustified advantages to certain categories of citizens during entry and completion of civil service.
