The mission of European experts on evaluation of SIGMA programme in Ukraine is finished

On September 12, 2013 the final wrap-up meeting between European experts and Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (NAUCS) Vyacheslav Tolkovanov was held at the premises of the NAUCS. The evaluation mission started on September 9, 2013 and ended on September 12, 2013.

The mission’s results on evaluation of applicability, efficiency and sustainability of the outcome of SIGMA programme in Ukraine for the period from 2008 till 2013, as well as strong points and weak spots of this programme were discussed during the meeting. Furthermore, the proposals for the future co-operating with SIGMA programme were provided by NAUCS.

Based on the results of evaluation the experts will prepare the report “Strategic assessment of Support for Improved Governance and Management Programme”.

Thus, it will encourage the future approach to planning and programming the assistance in the framework of SIGMA programme in Ukraine.
