On March 18, 2010 a meeting on the draft framework document of Comprehensive Institutional Building Programme under the Eastern Partnership initiativetook place in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine under supervision of the Director of the European Union Department Pavlo Klimkin.

On March 16, 2010 the second Steering Committee meeting of the Twinning project «Support to the Development and Improvement of the Civil Servants Training System in Ukraine through the Institutional Building of the National Academy of Public Administration of Ukraine» was held in the premises of the National Academy of Public Administration under the Office of the President of Ukraine (NAPA). Beneficiary of project are NAPA and the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine.

On March 17, 2010 Katarzyna Oniszk, Project Manager, Institution Building Unit, EC Enlargement Directorate-General met with Svitlana Repik, Acting Head, TAIEX Issues Sector.

Ms Oniszk presented mechanisms and procedures of usage of institutional building tool – TAIEX and emphasized on success of TAIEX implementation in Ukraine among countries of the European Neighborhood Policy.

On April 8, 2010 in the conference hall of School for Senior Civil Service final meeting of the Board MDCSU took place. The meeting was attended by the representatives of government, Members of the Parliament of Ukraine, representatives of ministries, central and local executive authorities, trade unions and NGOs. The main theme of the final meeting of the Board MDCSU was substantial reform of Public Administration.

On April 8, 2010 in the premises of Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in the framework of  expert mission on SIGMA programme on evaluation of public administration in the management of public finances the meeting between mission expert Piter Brook and representatives of Ministry of Economy of Ukraine took place. 

On April 8, 2010 meetings between SIGMA programme experts Peter Brooke, Noel Hepworth and representatives of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), Ministry of Health of Ukraine was held. Issues concerned state budget, control spending, government cooperation within the state budget process and issues on audit were discussed during the meeting. Ukrainian participants emphasized on some problematic issues  in this sphere to be discussed with foreign colleagues.

On April 6, 2010 expert mission on SIGMA programme started, the aim of which is to evaluate public administration in the management of public finances, including budget policy, financial management and control, internal and external audit.

On March 31, 2010 in the premises of Main Department of Interior Troops of Ukraine of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ukraine (MIAU) meeting between representatives of Twinning Programme Administrative Office (PAO) and work group of Twinning project "Support to the improvement of the system of public order protection by the interior troops of the MIAU" for Ukrainian interior troops took place.

On March 30, 2010 the Steering Committee meeting was held in the framework of the Twinning project "Support for the Ukrainian Veterinary Services in Enhancing the Legal and Technical Aspects of Food Safety Control System", the beneficiaries of which is the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine (MoAP).

On 30 March, 2010 in the premises of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine work group meeting in the framework of Twinning project "Support to the development and improvement of the civil servants training system in Ukraine" beneficiaries of which are the National Academy of Public Administration under the Office of the President of Ukraine (NAPA)and Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine (MDCSU).
